Penelope Parker is Senior Associate of Maurice Blackburn’s Employment and Industrial Relations Group in Sydney.

Penny began her career in the labour movement before joining Maurice Blackburn in 2018.

Since then, Penny has gained a wealth of experience as an employment and industrial relations lawyer, and was recognised by her peers when she was awarded the Doyle’s Guide Rising Star Award in 2023 for lawyers representing employees.

She has represented many women who have endured sexual harassment. Notably Penny was part of the team representing the applicant in Taylor v August & Pemberton Pty Ltd Ltd [2023] FCA 1313. In addition, Penny frequently represents trade unions in industrial disputes. Recently, Penny represented the HSU in the Aged Care Work Value Case which is ongoing.

Penny is also an executive member of the NSW Labor Lawyers Society.
