We are a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting union lawyers and industrial officers in NSW.
ULIO was founded 15 years ago by union lawyers and industrial officers frustrated by the high cost of Employment Law CPD seminars, often run by firms they regularly opposed. From the start, our mission has been to provide a platform for union lawyers and industrial officers to share knowledge, build skills, and strengthen their collective advocacy.
We believe a strong, informed union movement is essential to improving workers’ lives and strengthening the broader community. By providing accessible legal education, fostering peer support, and facilitating skill-sharing, ULIO empowers advocates to represent working people with confidence and expertise.
As industrial relations continue to evolve, ULIO remains committed to ensuring union lawyers and industrial officers have the tools and training needed to advance workers' rights and workplace justice.
