Mia has a strong reputation as an expert in sexual harassment and discrimination law. She has conducted significant and high-profile sexual harassment litigation, and has secured record-breaking out-of-court settlements for her clients. Mia’s achievements include:
securing an important compensation settlement on behalf of two women whose claims of sexual harassment against former Supreme Court judge, Peter Vickery, were upheld by an independent investigation; and
representing the successful applicant in the landmark decision, Taylor v August and Pemberton Pty Ltd [2023] FCA 1313, which set a new benchmark for general damages awards for sexual harassment.
