Emily is a Senior Legal Officer at the Electrical Trades Union, NSW Branch (ETU). Before joining the ETU, she worked as a lawyer at two employer firms, served as an associate at the Fair Work Commission, at the University of Newcastle Law School and as a researcher for Professor Hugh Collins.

Emily’s breadth of experience across union advocacy, employer representation, academia, and industrial tribunals gives her a well-rounded perspective on industrial and employment law. At ULIO Conference 2025, she will share insights from her diverse career and what union lawyers and industrial officers can learn from these varied experiences.
