Isabel Salinas
Isabel Salinas is a Research and Legal Officer at Unions NSW, where she coordinates the Migrant Workers Hub, an initiative that advocates for policy changes to improve working conditions for migrant workers in Australia. Isabel has over 15 years of professional experience, including more than 6 years leading research projects on workplace issues affecting migrant workers.
During her time at Unions NSW, Isabel has mobilised over 10,000 migrant workers to share their experiences through more than ten research projects, uncovering critical issues such as wage theft, sexual harassment, workplace law breaches in the horticulture industry, discriminatory recruitment practices, and the prevalence of underpayment across various industries.
