Claire Howell
Barrister
Claire began her career working for unions as the WA branch secretary of the Australian Public Service Association (now the CPSU). After graduating from law, Claire’s first job was rewriting the Brick, Tile and Pottery Makers Union Rules while at the firm now known as Slater & Gordon. She went to the bar in 1996 where she’s done what she humbly described as “won a few, lost a few”. Claire has a particular interest in the general protections jurisdiction.
