Oshie Fagir

Oshie is a barrister at 5 Wentworth. He began his legal career as a Legal Officer at the Transport Workers Union and was called to the Bar in 2013. With over 17 years of legal experience, he has been recognised as a leading practitioner in Doyle’s Guide in the Employment and Work Health and Safety categories since 2013.

Oshie regularly represents unions and workers but has also acted for employers, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both sides of industrial disputes.

As a founding member of ULIO, Oshie has been a longstanding and generous supporter of the organisation, frequently presenting at past ULIO conferences. At the ULIO Conference 2025, he will share insights from his extensive experience representing a range of industrial players and explore what union lawyers and industrial officers can learn from those who represent employers.
