Conference FAQs
Will I satisfy all my CPD requirements by attending the conference?
Yes! While seminars and other CPD activities are not accredited by The Law Society of New South Wales, under the CPD Rules, if any particular educational activity is relevant to your immediate or long term needs in relation to your professional development and practice of the law, then you should claim one “unit” for each hour of attendance, refreshment breaks not included.
The annual requirement is ten (10) units each year from 1 April to 31 March.
Our program has been designed to ensure that you fulfill all of your CPD requirements by attendance, and features sessions across each of the compulsory fields of:
Ethics and Professional Responsibility
Practice Management and Business Skills
Professional Skills
Substantive Law
Can I attend part of the conference in person, and part remote?
Yes, you can! When registering, you will be given an option to select the type of attendance following your purchase. Please choose "hybrid attendance" and specify the times for your in-person participation.
Can I buy a ticket for just one panel?
Tickets are only available for the full two-day conference, so single-panel passes aren’t an option. We’ve done our best to keep ticket prices incredibly low, and with so many great sessions and 10 + CPD units on offer, we think it'll be worth it!
I put down the wrong details in my registration - how can I fix it?
If your plans have changed and you need to update your registration (including remote or in person attendance, dietary requirements, or attendance at our post-conference drinks), please contact us at the earliest opportunity.
I will be attending remotely - can I still come for the drinks?
Absolutely! We’d love to see you there, please let us know in advance to secure your spot.
